As a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, KBIA’s mission since 1910 has been to provide an exemplary enrichment program for children and to be a positive influence in the life and welfare of Kennebunk Beach and the Kennebunk-area community.

With the help of our members and the business community we are able to extend scholarships to children of the Kennebunk area, keep Mother’s Beach safe, clean, and family-friendly, organize family-oriented community events and maintain KBIA’s quality enrichment programs and facilities.

KBIA is undertaking our second year in a five-year capital campaign. To help us reach our goal, we are seeking local business owners' generosity to help fund those programs that directly benefit the Kennebunk community: camp scholarships for children of the Kennebunks, and replacing our community playground at Mother's Beach. There are a couple of different ways to help:

• Shop & Dine: Our new Shop & Dine initiative is a mutually beneficial program that will help you help us. We will send our members to dine/shop at local restaurants/stores throughout the summer, and we ask for 10% from members' total check to support KBIA. Depending on individual business needs, we can also host a one-time special KBIA night when 10% of the total night's proceeds will benefit KBIA. We can also work together to customize a program. All proceeds will directly fund camp scholarships or help fund the playground (sponsor's choice).
• One Time Donations: Business, that prefer, can also make a one-time donation in any amount. All proceeds will directly fund camp scholarships or help fund the playground at Mother's Beach (sponsor's choice).

KBIA will promote all these savings, as well as highlight all business sponsors, through our e-mail blasts and bi-weekly newsletters throughout the summer. In addition, we will post all business sponsors in a prominent location at KBIA. We appreciate your generosity on behalf of community children!
