Bundled Schedule Escort
Drama (for ages 5-8) and Tennis (ages 7+) are conveniently scheduled to occur just prior to the start of the bundled classes and there are many popular KBIA classes that begin at noon. If your child has a class that ends just prior to the start of a bundled class or starts at noon, please notify the office and staff will be assigned to escort your child to or from those classes.
Bundled Class Schedule Reminder!
All bundled classes are still available for individual sign-ups. KBIA cannot provide supervision outside of class time for children unless they are enrolled in a Bundled Class Schedule or Adventures. We worked hard to minimize class conflicts for children participating in the Bundled Class Schedule. However, due to the varying tides, we were not able to build a bundled schedule around the Waterfront classes for every week.
Counselor in Training (CIT) Program for Ages 13-14
The CIT program emphasizes on the job training, supervised instruction, and lessons in CPR and First Aid. Each CIT will be assigned 12 or more flexible hours of service activities per week. CITs are required to register for the CIT class, as well as complete a CIT Application. CITs must enroll in at least two consecutive weeks, but are encouraged to take as many weeks as possible.

Tennis Program
We’ve expanded the Tennis program to better serve a wider range of abilities and ages.
Beginning will provide our youngest players with an introduction to tennis.
Stroke Development will emphasize basic strokes including forehand, backhand, volleys, and serves and will include an introduction to rules, scoring, etiquette, and game play.
Advanced will help further refine various strokes for more advanced players and will include instruction of singles and doubles play and game strategy.
Tennis Team will continue to provide opportunities to compete in tournaments and USTA matches.
Sailing Program
For the second year in a row we are pleased to offer KBIA sailing classes at a lower cost.
For children ages 11+ who would like to sail competitively there is the Sailing – Race Team. This meets for three and a half hours a day, three days a week and focuses on racing skills. The Race Team sails in Optis, Lasers and 420s. There is team travel to select M.I.R.C. Regattas on Wednesdays.
Children ages 11+ who don’t want to focus intensely on developing racing skills have an alternative sailing class. This class meets for two and a half hours a day, three days a week.
