Cove Walk – Weekend Fun for the Whole Family!
This summer join Mrs. D for the Cove Walk, it’s a great activity for kids of all ages. Please register at the office prior to the walk. The cove walks are open to both members and non-members, so please feel free to invite friends and acquaintances. Cost: $10 per family

Campfire, Beach Barbeque & Movie Night
Every Wednesday at 6 PM (weather permitting) there is a KBIA family campfire and barbeque at Mother's Beach. Bring your own hot dogs and marshmallows to enjoy with friends. The campfire is followed by an age appropriate kid's movie at Smith Cottage from 7-9 PM. Children can pre-register on the 2010 Registration Form, at the office prior to the film, or at the door. Children, ages 4 -10, are welcome to join for a $7.00 admission fee. KBIA staff supervises the movie and snacks and soft drinks can be purchased during intermission.

Weekend Sailing & Kayaking
Join us on the weekend to sail or kayak! We invite members of all ages to come and enjoy KBIA’s spectacular waterfront during our scheduled “Open Sail” sessions. “Open Sail” sessions are for all KBIA members (parents, grandparents and children) who would like to independently enjoy the cove in one of KBIA’s sailboats or kayaks. Previous sailing and kayaking experience is required as well as a life jacket and water shoes.

Invitations for the 100th Anniversary Celebration have been mailed. RSVPs are needed for the Traditional Lobster Bake Dinner & Live Auction. Space is limited so please RSVP as soon as possible. We need lots of member support to ensure the success of the 100th celebration activities. If you’re available to help the 100th Committee prior to or during the celebration weekend, please contact Seana Wood, the Committee Chair, or Mimi Meserve at info@kbia.net. 100th Anniversary Commemorative Book – A KBIA Keepsake KBIA’s beloved traditions and enduring spirit are portrayed in every page! KBIA’s 100th Anniversary Commemorative Book is a collection of shared memories and photos from the organization’s inception in 1910 to the present day. The book records the organization’s rich heritage and spectacular landmark presence over the years. The collection of shared memories and photographs are all authentic KBIA; provided by members, friends and the extended KBIA community. A limited, hard cover edition is a must have for present and past members and friends. Books will be available at the KBIA Office and at the KBIA Store this summer.   KBIA’s 100th Celebration Auction News WIN! The ultimate KBIA convenience – a front row parking spot. The parking spot is available from June 28 - July 30. Bids will be taken via email from June 21 from 10 am until noon on June 24. The winner will be announced by email on June 25. To bid on the parking spot e-mail your bid to auction@kbia.net with the subject line: KBIA Parking Bid. Or phone 207-967-2180 to place a bid. All bidding participants will be regularly apprised of the top bid. Minimum bid starts at $500. WIN! $2,000 worth of KBIA programming in 2011. The 100th tuition raffle tickets are $10 each or a book of 12 for $100. Raffle tickets go on sale through the KBIA office on June 28 and the winning raffle ticket will be selected at the auction on July 31.
