As a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, KBIA’s mission since 1910 has been to provide an exemplary enrichment program for children and to be a positive influence in the life and welfare of Kennebunk Beach and the Kennebunk-area community.

• Each year KBIA extends scholarships to children of the Kennebunk area – ensuring that everyone can benefit from and enjoy an inspiring, fun-filled summer.

• As a focal point at Mother’s Beach KBIA is dedicated to keeping the beach safe, clean, and family-friendly, offering public playgrounds and bath facilities.

• Throughout the summer KBIA organizes family-oriented community events such as the KBIA Day at the Beach Road Race, Annual Golf Tournament and Cove Swim.

• Maintain KBIA’s quality enrichment programs and our facilities, attracting generations of families, year after year, to vacation in the Kennebunks and take advantage of all that the surrounding communities have to offer.
